“ If you’re a seafood enthusiast, this market is a must-visit. You can find lots of seafood from different parts of the world here. I even found Green chromide here and it was super tasty. Prawns are available here at a very affordable price and the sellers are friendly and may offer small discounts if you're purchasing a large quantity of seafood. Almost everyone accepts card payments here and I would suggest everyone to come early to see a wide variety of fishes. Overall a fantastic experience. Would visit again for sure. ”
“ Hands-down one of my favorite places in London. The range of fish and seafood is truly unmatched, I never would’ve thought it’s even possible to find so much in a major city with no direct access to the sea. The opening times are from four until eight, as stated, but I highly recommend you get here no later than six, as by 6:30 half the vendors are already closed. 5:00-5:30 is probably the best time, especially on Thursdays and Saturdays, when they have fresh deliveries. If you’re worried about the vendors being too loud or too pushy — don’t be. They’re all absolute sweethearts and are so respectful of every customer. The prices are multiple times cheaper than any supermarket I’ve been to, not to mention the quality. Salmon fillet is roughly 15/kg, tiger prawns 30/kg, crabs anywhere between 8/kg to 25/kg (those ones are bigger than a child). Getting up at 4am sure sounds challenging, but it’s worth it ten times over. ”

We were spoiled for choice and went around the market many times before making a decision. They also have a small cafe at the corner if you choose to have breakfast after a long morning of seafood shopping! Also - don’t forget to bring your own bag! ”

Truly a gem in London but indeed requires an early wake-up. Nonetheless, a must-visit place for anyone interested in food. ”

“ Got to the designated parking lot at 3:45am and paid 3.5 for two hours parking via Ring Go. Gate was opened to the general public at 4am sharp. It was such a lively place with humorous and pleasant vendors trying to get attention. The fishy smell was not too strong there. Ended up having bought a King crab, razor clams, French oysters, a lobster and a grouper at reasonable prices. ”
